| “RETURN TO THE PAST” CRUISE
Day 1. Split-arrival
- Upon arrival at Split Airport, we transfer to hotel; spend the night in Split.
Day 2. City tour of SPLIT & SOLIN
- Morning is reserved for the sightseeing tour of town Split, another addition to the UNESCO’s World Heritage list. The tour includes the Diocletian's Palace (305 A.D.) with Peristil square, Jupiter's Temple, Cellars and the Cathedral. The Palace is a rare example of very well preserved, late classical Roman architecture and a unique place where the Palace is totally blended with today's modern town Split. Interesting amalgamation of late classical emperor villa, military camp and Hellenic town, the Palace will thrill you with its narrow paved streets and palaces. Our journey continues for Solin, once the metropolis of the Roman province of Dalmatia, ancient Salona, a place where fist early –Christian sanctuaries are located. Drive back to Split. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 3. Full day excursion: Šibenik & Krka Waterfalls National Park
- Morning departure for Šibenik, famous for its beautiful Cathedral of St. Jacob, the masterpiece of gothic – renaissance architecture, signed in the UNESCO's List of the World Cultural Heritage. We will continue to the National Park Krka passing through the Šibenik hinterland. We will visit the biggest waterfall Skradinski buk with its breathtaking scenery. Leisure time to enjoy the nature and take photographs. Return to Split and overnight.
Day 4. SPLIT – HVAR cruising
- Morning departure for Hvar, town on the island of Hvar. Upon arrival we will take a city tour that includes a part of the outstanding historical heritage of Hvar -the oldest European Public Theatre, the Arsenal, and the Franciscan Monastery. Lunch is served on board. Free time to explore the magnificent fortress, which offers a beautiful view on the Pakleni islands and the island of Vis, or to take a swim. Overnight on Board.
Day 5. HVAR -KORČULA cruising
- After breakfast, we will depart for Korčula. Upon arrival, we will tour city of Korčula. It is known for its outstanding cultural and historical heritage and a long tradition in seafaring, shipbuilding and stone-masonry. It is the birthplace of the adventure and traveler Marco Polo. Today Korčula is an important tourist centre. Lunch is served on board. You will have free time in Korčula to explore the town or to enjoy magnificent local wines such as Pošip, Rukatac, Grk or Plavac. Overnight on board.
Day 6. KORČULA – VIS cruising
- After breakfast on board, departure for island of Vis. Lunch is served on board. You will have free afternoon in Vis to take a swim or to enjoy the gastronomic offer of Vis. Overnight on board.
Day 7. VIS -TROGIR
- After breakfast on board we’ll take a small excursion to the famous Blue Cave on the small island Biševo, which seems to glow from underneath with an incandescent blue light. Lunch is served on board and afterwards we will depart for Trogir. Upon arrival we will tour Trogir, fortified medieval town, signed in the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. We will visit the St. Lawrence Cathedral with its masterpiece the Portal of master Radovan and the most significant work of Renaissance, the Chapel of St. John from 15th century. Next to the Cathedral is the Town Loggia dating from 15th century, as well as Kamerlengo Town-at the western end of the city. You can visit on your own also the Benedictine convent of St. Nicholas with rich collection and a symbol of Trogir, the Greek relief depicting Kairos, Greek god of the lucky moment from the 3rd century, or the City Museum situated in the Garagnin-Fanfogna Palace with its valuable collection of paintings, sculptural works and a well -appointed library. Overnight on board.
Day 8. TROGIR
- After breakfast the tour ends and we will depart for Split Airport.
